How we support homeschooling families
Homeschooling looks different for every family. We tailor lessons to your child’s age, goals, and the approach you are using at home.
We can help with:
Contributing to a clear weekly routine and learning plan
Filling knowledge gaps and strengthening core skills
Supporting confident learners to excel
Confidence building and positive learning
Support towards exams where needed (for example GCSEs)
You will have the same tutor each week, with clear feedback after every session.
Getting started is simple
Tell us what your
child needs
Complete our short form with your child’s year group and what they need help with.
We'll match you with a tutor
We'll personally review your child's needs and recommend the right tutor, usually within a few hours.
Support from the same tutor
Start with a £20 trial lesson. Continue only if you're happy.
Online lessons at home
Lessons are delivered online and planned around your child’s goals. Sessions take place on a video call in a quiet space where your child can focus.
Your child can join on any suitable computer or tablet with a camera and microphone.
For safeguarding, we ask that a parent or carer is at home and within earshot during the session. Read our Safeguarding Policy.
Homework is optional, we can suggest short tasks between lessons if helpful.
If your child has additional needs, tell us so we can match the right tutor and approach. See our Special Educational Needs support.
We’ll send simple joining instructions and make it easy to get started.

What homeschooling is and why it’s growing
Home education (often called homeschooling) is when parents choose to take legal responsibility for their child’s education outside of school.
Home education has grown in recent years, and more families are choosing it for different reasons.
While numbers rose during Covid, today’s interest reflects a broader change in how families think about education.
Why many families are switching
Flexibility and fit. Parents want learning that follows a child’s pace, interests and family routine, not a rigid school timetable.
Philosophy and faith. Some families choose home education for philosophical or faith-based reasons, preferring a curriculum and rhythm that align with their values and family life.
Wellbeing and unmet needs. Where support plans are delayed or inconsistent, home education can offer tailored methods and fewer barriers to progress.
Calmer environment. Some families report that smaller, quieter settings reduce pressure and improve engagement, particularly where bullying has been an issue.
How we can help
Even with the flexibility of home education, most families still want expert teaching support in key areas, whether that is to fill gaps, build confidence, or keep progress on track. Having a qualified tutor can take pressure off at home, bring structure without losing flexibility, and give your child teaching that is tailored to how they learn.
That is where we can help:
1:1 online lessons with vetted tutors who understand the UK curriculum
Clear goals and simple plans, so you know what to focus on next
Support for core subjects like English, maths, and science, plus other subjects as needed
A calmer, consistent approach that builds confidence and routine without overloading your week
