The teacher behind Grow Up Tutoring
Grow Up Tutoring is led by Nicole, an experienced UK teacher.
Grow Up Tutoring exists because too many families have to scroll through tutor directories and hope they pick the right person. We work with a hand-picked team of tutors across primary and secondary, including KS3 and GCSE subject specialists.
We’re selective, most applicants don’t make it through. Every tutor goes through a multi-step vetting process, interview, verification checks, and a quality review before working with families.
Your child has the same tutor each week and you get clear, honest feedback after every session.
Nicole teaches some pupils herself and also runs the day-to-day work at Grow Up Tutoring.
She:

When you get in touch, you’re dealing with a small team led by a qualified teacher who takes the time to understand your child, and match them properly.
What we do
We provide online tutoring for primary and secondary pupils across the UK. Most families choose weekly 1:1 lessons, and we also offer small groups when there is a good match in level and availability.
We provide support for children with special educational needs and for homeschooling families, with lessons tailored to the pupil and their goals.
Start with a £20 trial lesson. Ongoing 60-minute lessons are £35, with no long-term commitment.
How we do it
We keep things simple and supportive: the same friendly tutor each week, structured, engaging lessons, and clear, practical feedback after every session.
Teaching is adapted to how your child learns best, so tricky topics become manageable and progress feels achievable.

We run lessons safely
We follow clear safeguarding procedures in every lesson, including how tutors communicate with children, how sessions are run, and how concerns are reported and handled.

The data we keep
We collect just enough to teach well and keep your child safe: name, year group, learning goals/needs, your contact details, and simple progress notes. We never sell data or share it for marketing.
Responsible and compliant
Grow Up Tutoring Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller.
That means we are responsible for handling your personal data and your child’s personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
We store information securely, restrict access to only the people who need it (for example, your child’s tutor and our Designated Safeguarding Lead), and keep it only for as long as it is needed for tutoring, legal, or safeguarding.
